Opening ZenBot
ZenBot runs on hardware you control, so it opens from your own machine rather than from this website.
Where your ZenBot is
Open a browser on the machine you installed ZenBot on and go to the address it printed when it started. By default that is:
http://localhost:3000
From another device on your own private network — a phone, a laptop in the next room — use the machine's name on that network instead oflocalhost. ZenBot is not published to the public internet, so the address only works from devices you have joined to your own network.
Just connected QuickBooks? You can close the tab Intuit returned you to. The connection is already recorded against your ZenBot instance. Open the address above and the QuickBooks entry on the Integrations page will show as connected.
If ZenBot is not running
- Check it has been started on the machine it is installed on. It runs as a background service and needs that machine switched on and awake.
- If you are away from that machine, confirm the device you are on has joined your private network.
If you do not have ZenBot
ZenBot is a personal assistant you install and run yourself — your data stays on your own hardware, and there is no account with us and no subscription. If you have reached this page without having installed it, start at zen.bot.
